Well, lately I've been in a funk and not really looking forward to the holiday's, but I think after today, I am ready to start baking cookies and getting ready for our party!!
Every year, my sister and I go to the mall on Black Friday and we get a lot accomplished as you can see. I love it when people stare at us for bringing a stroller with no child...we always get comments about how great of an idea it is. Chris texted me to see if I bought anything...what do you think?????

Love this pic...See the corn flying out of Connor's hand? It's almost as if it is going into the mouths of the geese, but the are really far away!
It's been so long, I know. I have been taking lots of photos, just not taking the time to download them and I still have not printed any in over a year!!! WOW, I will have one hefty bill when that happens, and a huge mess of pictures!
We went out on Sunday for some family pictures and they turned out pretty great, I think! My legs are actually sore from squatting up and down and pushing the timer and running to get into place.
These are not the best pictures...I don't want to show possible x-mas card pics!

Two of his favorites
Connor loves the two red items in the above photo. His boots and wheelbarrow. Everyday when he comes home, the first thing he does is put on his "work" boots! He LOVES to play outside and he will not got out without them because they can get muddy! The wheelbarrow was a present from Grandma and Grandpa for Christmas and he loves to tote it around. He follows daddy while mowing the grass picking up leaves and sticks for him, fills it up with water and sand and also hauls grass and dirt for us. He is such an AWESOME helper!!!
I need to buy another pair of boots while they are still out because the day that these need to retire will be tragic...I think there may be a hole in one as his feet have been a little when after taking them off.
I had my injection yesterday and it was not the most pleasant experience I've had to say the least. I did sleep all night, which was a first in a LONG TIME. Today was trying once again, my range of movement seems to be a bit better. Lets hope it continues to get better.

HOLY COW!!!
I'm updating my blog with pictures!!!! We have been super busy lately and I've not been feeling very well with my herniated disc...the pain gets worse everyday and I am to start with injections tomorrow. I pray that it will work without surgery. I can't believe July is almost over, the summer is FLYING by...we have not spent much time in the pool because it hurts to get in and out of the pool, so I find no relief from it. We are on vacation in two weeks and as of right now, we are not going anywhere. If all goes well and I can sit in the car, we may go to Myrtle Beach. Not sure at this point!!!
As most of you know, my grandmother passed away last month and lately, I've had some really intense questions from Connor about Grandma. He wants to know how she got to Heaven, what God eats, is she really okay and can she talk again? He also told me that God was his favorite "guy" because he is taking care of Great-Grandma. The one thing he said that blew me off my feet was that he said, when he is a great-grandpa, he will go to Heaven too....the though process of the child and where his mond goes! He is asking all of the questions that we as adults have about death and are unsure of the answers.

Slacker
I have been such a slacker, I know. I have been so busy at work, selling BeautiControl and just everything. I have been dealing with back, rear and leg issues lately, only to find out that I have a very LARGE bulging disk. Don't know what that means, but I am going to the Neurologist in Friday. Must not be good, because specialists usually take a while to get in to, but the nurse requested to see me in 1-2 weeks after reviewing the MRI results. I have been doing physical therapy, which had not really made any difference and the medicine doesn't make the pain go away, so frankly I'm just miserable. I am most miserable in the mornings after laying down in bed. Once I am up moving around, I'm ok by afternoon. It sucks, and I just hate it. I have to remember to get up often at work, or my body really aches. Enough about my crappy body, I promise to update pictures soon...
We have been spending our time in the pool lately. Connor requests to go swimming all the time. He will jump in, get out, jump in, etc a hundred times, I swear. It should be a fun summer, since we have our outside work done and will be able to use the pool more. (Except for the fact that my leg really hurts to climb the ladder)

Busy, Busy, Busy!!!!!!
That's what I have been lately. I have decided to start doing direct sales along with my FULL time job. I am now a consultant for BeautiControl. For those of you who don't know what BeautiControl is, here goes. We sell skincare for various ages, makeup, etc. I joined because I developed terrible acne last year and I tried Proactiv. Well, needless to say, it dried my skin out tremendously. After hearing of BeautiControl, I thought I would give it a try. I have been using it for 1 month and my skin has improved tremendously. (I can actually go to the gym without covering up the blemishes)
Chris and I discussed it for a while and he has been very supportive. As most of you know, I am a people person and I needed some social interaction other than my family at work. I hope I gain some new friendships and of course extra money for a new house that Chris and I hope to build someday soon. We have a promotion going on until May and I am eligible for a trip to the Bahamas. While I would love to go, that's not top priority in my book. Never know though, I may change my mind, the closer I get.
Nothing new in our family...Connor is rotten as ever, does not stop talking and really comes up with some crazy things to say. The other day he told me something was none of my business. What?!?!?! The nice weather this weekend did him some good, because he was out ALL THE TIME!!! Well deserved after a long winter being cooped up.
We are itching to go camping, not sure that we will get to go in March though. Oh well. Enough about me, I'll try to post more soon.

Sledding and shoveling
Well I'm sure you all have the same type of photos, but I thought I would add mine. Connor has loved every bit of the snow. He goes out for a few minutes in the morning and has spent his days at Jan's out and at home at night. He will be sad when it melts. This is the first year that he has truely gotten to enjoy it without falling face first every time he tries to walk.
